Revisiting our Roots.....


We as a family decided to use my wife’s culinary skill in pickles and my taste in that particular item to start a venture dedicated to bringing the age-old recipes and the heartwarming feel of proper Telugu food experience to every plate and palate. So in 2003, Jandhyala Pickles was a’jared. We worked on every pickle, researching on decades-old recipes and reconciling the generational touches into moments that that define the delicacy.

Jandhyala Pickles’ aim has always been to provide an authentic “jadi ooragay” experience to our people. It went against grain to see the market portraying pickles just a packaged side dish. We decided to change that into an experience by bringing our ancestral recipes into the mix. The entire system of Jandhyala Pickles revolves around a simple principle- The aim is not to just create a pickle but provide a flavorful experience, and of making authentic products that are steeped in culinary nostalgia. Sixteen years on, we are still in the same effort, endeavouring and adding recipes from many grandmothers and mothers to present the best Jandhyala Pickle yet.
